You choose your role once after email verification. Parent / Homeschool and Teacher workspaces can add real learners with adult consent. School / Program opens a clearly marked demonstration sandbox.
Teacher
Create a real teacher workspace, add up to three learners, choose one subject, and use the complete learning, review, and reporting loop.
School / Program
Open an isolated administrator sandbox with a demonstration campus, class, teacher, students, attendance, progress, reports, and safe roster preview.

Those limits are defined centrally for server enforcement. Synthetic demonstration learners remain separate and do not count as real students. No other free-tier limit or price is being represented publicly.
